Helen Boron

Helen Boron, age 85, of Highland, died on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison following a brief illness. The former Helen Plaza was born on December 25, 1920 in Hawkins, WI to John and Anna (Wojtowicz) Plaza. She married Ludwig Boron on July 5, 1941 and they were blessed with 63 years of marriage before his death on December 14, 2004. The couple lived in Chicago where Helen worked for Johnson & Johnson Surgical Products from 1958 until retiring to Highland in 1977. Helen was a member of Ss. Anthony & Philip Parish.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jim Schoemehl five sisters, Mary Plaza, her twin Eva Plaza at birth, Anna Dorota; Barbara Podborny and Frances Sokolowski and four brothers, Mike, Tony, Frank and Edward Plaza.
Helen is survived by […]^PRIV; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Plaza of Hawkins as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at St. Philip’s Catholic Church in Highland. Fr. Kenneth J. Frisch will officiate with burial in St. Philip’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday after 9:00 A.M. The McGuire-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home, Highland, is serving the family.
