Tadeus John Doviak Jr. was suddenly taken from us with a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer on June 26, 2021. He passed peacefully from this world into the waiting arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with loved ones by his side in Renton, WA.
Born on May 26, 1944 to Tadeus John Doviak and Alice (nee Pelczar) in Passaic, NJ. Teddy grew up in Passaic and Clifton, NJ where he graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in 1962. He left Christian Brothers College in 1964 and joined the Air Force. During his 25-year military career he traveled the world as a Radar Technician with AWACS. He earned medals and awards for distinguished service, was an Air Training Command Instructor, and retired as a SMSGT. Ted earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology. Using these degrees in his second career was at Good Samaritan Hospital in, Puyallup, WA, as a mental health counselor. He was a former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. A volunteer with many youth organizations including CYO at St. Theresa's and All Saints Parishes. His passion of volunteerism grew with the Soldiers Project, providing care and comfort to service men, women and their families. In retirement Ted loved to ride his Harley visiting family, friends, music festivals, and Harley Rallies. He is survived by his children […]^PRIV, nine grandsons and one great-granddaughter. He will be truly missed as a man of humor, love of family and country.
Interment will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Tahoma National Cemetery, Covington, WA at 2:30PM.
