    I'm looking for decendents of Joseph Wdowiak and Eva Serafin both born/died Poland. Their children are: Andrew b. 1882 married Caroline Wilk, Jan (John) b. 1891 married Aniela Obara, Conrad (Konrad) married Rose, Valentine married Katie, Julius married Sophie and Thomas married Agatha all born in Poland. Most lived in New Jersey and New York.

    Tadeus John Doviak, Jr. was suddenly taken from us with a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer on June 26, 2021. He passed peacefully from this world into the waiting arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with loved ones by his side in Renton, WA.
    Born on May 26, 1944 to Tadeus John Doviak and Alice (nee Pelczar) in Passaic, NJ. Teddy grew up in Passaic and Clifton, NJ where he graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in 1962. Admittedly, a better card player than student, he left Christian Brothers College 1964 and joined the Air Force. During his 25-year career he served all over the world as a Radar Technician with 552d Air Control Wing and 964th AWACS. He earned medals and awards for distinguished service, was an Air Training Command Instructor, and retired as a SMSGT. He was an amateur softball player with his Air Force buddies and enjoyed most sports. He shared stories of playing basketball and running cross-country in high school. He had joy for photography and took pictures in slides, photos, reel to reel movies, video tapes, black and white and color. He dabbled in development of film as well. He submitted a few photos to the State Fair. Ted believed in furthering his education and satisfying his curiosity with subscriptions to National Geographic and Games Magazines and reading books. Lots of books filled his home on a variety of subjects. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Psychology. He used his degrees in his second career with Good Samaritan Hospital as a mental health counselor. He was a member and former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and served with them in his community. His passion for helping those in need grew and he volunteered with the Soldiers Project, providing care and comfort to service men, women and their families. Ted loved his four children and believed in giving back to his community. He volunteered with PTA, as a Rec soccer coach, a Boy Scout Leader, as a CYO leader at St. Teresa’s Parrish in Federal Way, WA and All Saints Parish in Puyallup, WA, most memorably sanding derby cars and holding a clown workshop as the teens dressed up to clown at the church picnic. He documented his kids’ activities with pictures or videos. He showed up for everything. If he was TDY he would bring back souvenirs from his travels and something special for you when he missed being with you on your birthday. He taught his children how to fish, have a joy for art, and playing cards. As his beard grew so did his joy of playing Santa. He had a beautiful Father Christmas robe made for him and his grandsons have fond memories of him being their Santa. Ted was always willing to help out with the sweat of his brow, an encouraging word, or a shoulder to lean on. He cheered on his grandsons in soccer matches and clapped at piano recitals and choir concerts. He would drive long hours to babysit his great-grandchildren […]PRIV. In retirement his long-time love of motorcycles merged with his joy of travel. With Americano in hand, Ted rode his Harley all over the country. He made it to all but one of the 50 states visiting family, friends, music festivals, and Harley Rallies. He loved having his dogs and they were a precious joy of his life. He is survived by his children […]PRIV, nine grandsons and one great-granddaughter. He will be truly missed as a man of humor, love of family, and service to his country.
    Interment will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Tahoma National Cemetery, Covington, WA at 2:30pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Soldiers Project in Ted’s name..
